An opportunity has subsequently arisen for an experienced

Quality Manager

to join our Management Team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strong process improvement and QMS within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, along with solid know how of running and owning both external and internal customer audits from major brand names and authorities. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will support the promotion of a strong quality, product safety, health and safety culture that is already embedded in the business.

Within this role you will be responsible for:

The quality assurance processes and procedures used in the business. The Quality Manual and ISO9001 compliance. ISO internal audit. BRC compliance and audit management. Health & Safety. Customer and supplier audits. Tracking customer complaints and managing root cause analysis and corrective actions and resolutions through the production teams. Working with the management teams to ensure all SOPs are valid and up to date.
Setting of QA compliance objectives and ensuring targets are achieved, reporting progress regularly to the senior management team.

To support this, you will be flexible and robust with good man management skills, able to explain change and have a positive impact on the business as a whole. A very good communicator, you will be comfortable dealing with people of all levels in the organisation and will possess very good presentation skills and exhibit an excellent level of MS office skills. Attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are equally essential requirements underpinning the role. The applicant would ideally already have some quality and health & safety certification.
