Hoffman is a key part of the Consolidated Timber Holdings Group (CTH), a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of wood panel products. Hoffman specialises in precision machining, value-added panel processing, and bespoke component production for a range of commercial and industrial applications.

This is an exciting time at Hoffman and CTH as we open a brand new, 3.2 acre site in Rainham with significant investment. We are deepening our presence and expanding our reach into new customer groups who are seeking quality, innovation and market leading timber solutions.

The role

The Quality Manager leads all quality assurance and quality control functions to ensure products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. This role oversees quality systems, audits, testing, documentation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. The Quality Manager partners closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive defect reduction, strengthen process capability, and improve first-pass yield.

The person - Qualifications

5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with QMS frameworks (ISO 9001 preferred). Proficiency in statistical process control, inspection methods, and measurement tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience leading teams and cross-functional projects.

Working Conditions

Combination of office and shop-floor environments. Frequent inspection of materials and production processes. Collaboration across multiple departments and shifts
