The
Quality Manager
will lead and modernise our quality systems, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and efficiency across our operations. This is a pivotal role that will drive continuous improvement and support the development of new technologies and products. We're looking for someone with substantial experience in quality assurance, with a proven track record in driving continuous improvements. As Quality Manager you will have strong people management experience, as you will be responsible for the management and development of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure full adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and identify opportunities for improvement.
Modernise systems to enhance efficiency and product confidence.
Analyse and report on quality discrepancies across mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
Develop and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation procedures.
Conduct quality assurance tests and statistical analysis.
Investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, service, and operations teams.
Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to raise awareness and drive change.
Manage the creation of standard work instructions and training documentation.
Contribute to QA strategy development and performance evaluation.
Support the introduction of new technologies and products to meet quality standards.
Skills & Qualifications Required
Degree qualified or equivalent.
Strong People management experience
Minimum 7 years' experience in QA or quality management.
Proficient in QMS tools such as FMEA, 8D, and audit processes.
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement training.
Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
Experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environment would be beneficial
