Quality Manager

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of our quality function, ensuring all products, processes, and procedures meet internal standards and customer expectations. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, good communication skills, and the ability to drive improvements across the factory.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Quality team, ensuring effective QA and QC processes. Oversee factory inspections, product checks, and in-process quality controls. Ensure all manufacturing processes follow established quality procedures and documentation. Investigate quality issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions. Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Materials teams to support consistent product quality and reduce defects. Develop quality KPIs, reporting, and performance dashboards for senior management. Manage internal audits and customer audits, ensuring strong communication and follow-up actions. Promote a positive quality culture across the organisation and support continuous improvement activities. Support supplier quality checks, goods-in inspection, and NCR reduction.

Skills & Experience

Experience as a Quality Manager or senior QA/QC leader within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality processes, inspection methods, and problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Why, 8D, RCA). Proven ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across multiple departments. Confident communicator with the ability to influence, challenge, and coach others. Analytical approach with strong attention to detail. Relevant qualifications in Quality
