The Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) is seeking to appoint an individual to the role of Quality Officer to join an established professional service team whose remit is to support the effective implementation of quality assurance systems and processes across the University.

CQA sits within the Provost, Learning & Teaching portfolio, working alongside teams responsible for learning and teaching enhancement, student engagement and online learning. The team is responsible for ensuring that quality assurance and enhancement processes are effectively implemented, maintained and evaluated, in areas such as new programme development and approval, continual monitoring and cyclical review of programmes. The team also leads on and services the University\'s academic governance (committee) structure.

As Quality Officer you will liaise with academic and professional services college staff and key stakeholders. Work will include supporting programme approval and review activities and events, continual monitoring processes, committee servicing within the academic governance structure, and other internal evaluation processes. The successful candidate, in addition to relevant knowledge and experience, will need excellent communication skills, work well independently as well as part of a team, be skilled in the use of IT packages and be able to work well under pressure, often managing competing deadlines.
