Quality Officer
14-month maternity cover.

An opportunity to join an international, market leading company specialising in bolus technology, animal health, and micro nutrition. With an excellent reputation for delivering technically advanced products, tailored to suit the needs of farmers and their livestock this company has made a huge impact in the space. The Quality Officer will report directly into the Quality Manager as part of the technical quality team, with main responsibilities including the maintenance and improvement of the quality management system. This is a 13/14 month maternity cover (dependent on start date).

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:
The main duties include ensuring the site and products comply with the requirements of pharmaceutical GMP and FAMI-QS. There are regular responsibilities to prepare and review documentation including product quality reviews (PQRs), periodic safety update reports (PSURs), quality risk management, stability study protocols, and equipment and process qualification and validation. There is also a need to perform both internal and external audits, perform weekly inspections as well as review and update internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other relevant documentation. Also:

• Investigation of out of specification investigations, deviations, and change controls.
• Corrective and Preventative Action planning, implementation, and monitoring.
• Technical dossier authoring, with particular focus on CMC sections, including stability trend analysis, analytical testing and validation, and justification of specifications.
• Review of batch documentation as required.
• Release of products classified as dietetic complementary feeds.
• Review and update of company SOPs, templates, product formulations & specifications, Site Master File, Quality Manual and Validation Master Plan.
• Ad-hoc QC checking of incoming and outgoing goods.

What experience you will need to apply:

• Bachelors degree ideally in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related subject with quality experience.
• Experience of pharmaceutical GMP, FAMI-QS, HACCP and risk assessment.
• Good computer, communication and teamworking skills.
