WHAT TO EXPECT

JLR Body Chassis Engineering are seeking a skilled and experienced Group Scrum Master to join our dynamic Quality team. As a Group Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in enabling our quality leadership team to deliver exceptional results within a Scaled Agile framework. You will collaborate closely with Squad and Group Scrum Masters, ensuring adherence to Agile processes while swiftly removing obstacles and distractions that hinder team progress.

This position requires excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for Agile practices in a fast-paced automotive engineering environment.

In the role of Scrum Master, you will not only enable the leadership team to effectively deliver within a Scaled Agile framework but also play a pivotal role in coaching and developing key stakeholders and other Scrum Masters. You will coach the Chapter Product Owner (PO) on their responsibilities, including maintaining a clear product roadmap, cascading information to other Group Scrum Masters in the domain, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring alignment on priorities across squads.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the owner of Agile processes, methods, and tools, promoting standardization and flexibility within a Scaled Agile approach
  • Coordinate interdependencies between groups to ensure alignment on priorities
  • Lead and facilitate key Quarterly Business Review and Annual Business Review ceremonies, including retrospectives, memo preparation, and market engagements
  • Proactively remove group-level obstacles and inefficiencies to keep the team focused during each Quarterly Business Review and Annual Business Review period
WHAT YOU NEED
  • Prior experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Coach role, preferably within the Automotive Engineering industry
  • Qualified experience of Agile at Scale (e.g., Leading SAFe)
  • Experience in enterprise-level stakeholder management
  • Expert knowledge of Agile principles and their practical application
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced delivery environment
  • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence to manage team backlog and delivery efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and thrive in a large business environment.
