Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a role with real impact? Join the House of Commons and help manage multi-million-pound engineering and building maintenance contracts that keep Parliament running.


As part of the Parliamentary Maintenance Services Team (PMST), you'll review and audit contractor accounts, ensure costs align with agreed schedules, and support managers in driving performance, efficiency, and value for money.


This is an exciting opportunity to use your commercial and analytical expertise within one of the UK's most historic and high-profile estates, contributing to the smooth delivery of essential maintenance and improvement works.

What we're looking for.



Have experience of conducting pre and post measure site inspections for works to either assist with cost estimate production or account payment validity, it would be expected that in this role that published schedules of rates such as RICS or PSA would be used as the basis of costing. Formal Qualification in Quantity Surveying HNC/HND Minimum Have experience of either implementing or undertaking a robust financial auditing regime to scrutinise payment applications from service providers and to ensure detailed records relating to account queries or variations were maintained.
