Quantity Surveyor - Building Envelopes / Facades

We're seeking an ambitious

Quantity Surveyor

on behalf of a large building envelope division within a well established subcontractor, working across a range of facade and building envelope projects throughout Manchester and the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to progress within a specialist and fast-paced sector, supported by an experienced commercial and project delivery team.

About the Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of facade and envelope projects from tender through to final account. You'll ensure cost control, accurate forecasting, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage commercial performance across live projects, ensuring financial targets are achieved. Prepare and manage valuations, variations, and final accounts. Support procurement, contract administration, and cost reporting. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships. Provide accurate monthly forecasting and reporting to senior management. Attend site and client meetings as required (occasional travel across the North West).

About You

Minimum

3 years' experience

in a

Quantity Surveying

role.

BA (Hons) in Quantity Surveying

or equivalent qualification is

essential

. Experience within

facades / building envelopes

preferred, though

other subcontract backgrounds

will be considered. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills. Comfortable attending site and client meetings when required. Based in or commutable to
