We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Junior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator with M&E knowledge to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:



As a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator at Switch Technologies, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates, managing budgets, and ensuring financial efficiency for M&E projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to deliver successful projects that meet our clients' needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:



Cost Estimation

: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for M&E projects.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Tendering:

Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and assist in the selection of contractors and suppliers.

Contract Administration:

Review, negotiate, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards.

Project Analysis:

Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contracts to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Cost Reporting:

Produce regular financial reports, including cost forecasts and budget variances, to provide insights to project stakeholders.

Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Value Engineering:

Identify and implement cost-saving measures and value engineering solutions without compromising quality.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, contracts, and project documentation.

Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator with a focus on M&E systems and working with M&E contractors.

Software Proficiency:

Proficient in using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Excel, and specialized QS software .

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement. English must be first language.

Attention to Detail:

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing cost estimates and financial reports.

Team Player:

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
