We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join our valued Pastoral Team for a maternity cover. This role involves providing vital support within our internal inclusion room, known as the 'Ratton Ready Room,' aimed at assisting disaffected and vulnerable students. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring a positive and nurturing environment for these students.

An interest in working with students displaying a range of behavioural needs is important. The successful candidate should bring a caring, flexible, and common-sense approach to their work.

Expectations: The role requires someone with high expectations for all students, aiming to help them achieve their best despite the challenges they may be facing. Your commitment to the welfare and progress of children and young people is crucial, as is your ability to adapt to the unique needs of each student.

Personal Attributes: A tactful, discreet, and diplomatic approach is necessary for effective communication with parents/carers, students, and colleagues. The ability to work collaboratively within the team is key, and a self-motivated individual with a personal drive to complete tasks to required timescales and quality standards will thrive in this role.

Commitment to Students: Above all, we are seeking an individual with a deep commitment to the wellbeing and success of children and young people. Your role will involve fostering positive relationships and providing essential support to help students navigate and overcome challenges.

Conclusion: This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students facing difficulties.
