Job Role: RCA Assistant Surveyor

Location:

Hampshire/Berkshire- Travelling to multiple sites

Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum, plus a car allowance

Hours: 35 hours per week- Monday to Friday

Position in Organisation

This role reports into the Surveying Manager with responsibility for our Reinstatement Cost Assessment programme. However, you will also have close contact with other surveyors in the team.

Main Responsibilities

Undertake full inspection of blocks on the development as per job sheet Undertake external measurements and produce sketch plans Identify and describe number of floors in block and type of construction and complete job sheet Take and submit photographs Progress report your work to your Line Manager as required Add date into spreadsheet and apply BCIS data to calculate RCA Build the data into a proforma report and submit to line manger Maintain all equipment for your job role in operable and safe condition -ensuring it's security Complete job sheets as required for work carried out or scheduled. Do not permit the use of any Company equipment by any other person, unless authorised to do so by your Line Manager Act with integrity and professionalism always Complete all training as required

Health and Safety

To maintain full compliance with the company Health and Safety Policy. Follow company procedure and guidelines for Health and Safety in relation to compliance Ensure safe working environment and site safety at all times Report any breaches of H&S to Line Management Report all accidents and near misses to Line Management

Other Duties

Ensure all correct P.P.E is used at all times and due regard is given at all times to Health and Safety matters Ensure all signage is displayed where clearly visible To carry out any other reasonable tasks that your manager may request

Qualifications

No qualification necessary but training to become a surveyor nay be available after a qualifying period.

Experience

Ability to deal with large work schedules and act on own Initiative.
