Job Description

Our client, one of the UK's leading commercial property practices, is seeking an ambitious Solicitor or Associate to join their highly respected Housebuilder sector team. Renowned for advising some of the nation's largest housebuilders, this team is consistently ranked in the top tiers by Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, handling transactions of any size or complexity with deep sector expertise.
Why this role stands out:

  • Work within a specialist, multi-disciplinary team covering all aspects of residential development law--from land acquisition and planning, through construction and site set-up, to plot conveyancing.
  • Collaborate with highly experienced partners and senior practitioners, including former in-house Legal Directors from major housebuilders.
  • Develop your technical and client management skills with a broad, varied workload that ensures you're not pigeonholed, giving exposure across the full spectrum of commercial property law.
  • Take part in business development and client engagement, helping to grow and nurture relationships within a thriving sector.
  • Join a fast-growing, innovative firm that values career progression, professional development, and a supportive team culture.
The role:
  • Handle a mix of Housebuilder-focused commercial property matters while gaining exposure to a wide range of other property transactions.
  • Work closely with colleagues across offices and sectors to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of the team's sector profile.
  • Comply with all firm policies, procedures, and information security requirements.
About you:
  • At least 1 year post-qualification experience within a leading property practice.
  • Strong academic background and a sharp intellect.
  • Excellent organisation, initiative, and communication skills.
  • A genuine team player with the drive to learn and develop in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
  • Motivated to engage with challenging work and ambitious about career progression.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a market-leading commercial property team, work with some of the UK's most high-profile housebuilders, and develop a rewarding career in a supportive, forward-thinking firm.
