Job Description


Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for managing the UK/EMEA Test Centre network, VUE Warrington and VUE Lighthouse locations for day-to-day Real Estate operational requirements, ensuring all business and client needs are met.

Analysing spend and services to identify repeated costs and financial/service issues and identify areas for improvement and efficiency to be presented to the Manager Test Centre Real Estate.

Implementation of initiatives/changes of way of working to improve efficiency, service to customers and support to all stakeholders.

Providing support to various stakeholders within the company, ensuring efficient processes and operations, and maintaining an open line of communication to support the overall efficiency of the Real Estate Management department.

Manage and maintain all required documentation, databases, contractor records and Pearson inhouse systems.

Receipt and distribution of internal mail and packages.

Shipping of mail and packages nationally and internationally and proactively managing any customs issues and liaising with all internal and third-party stakeholders.

Manage and maintain vendor relationships including conflict resolution and improvements to services and costs.

Take the lead with vendor financial disputes ensuring all are resolved in a timely manner.

Assisting the Real Estate leadership with landlord queries, escalated PPC issues and PPC projects as requested.

Working with the US based Pearson VUE Real Estate team as required to assist with UK/EMEA Test Centre matters.

Liaise with vendors to secure quotes, place orders and manage vendor relationships and agreements.

Key Activities

Process equipment orders and communicate delivery points with both vendors and purchasing departments.

Collect and distribute equipment both nationally and internationally.

Stock control

Managing vendor invoices and any payment disputes.

Manage and maintain all vendor documentation and databases.

Assisting with/Taking the lead on projects as delegated to support the Real Estate team.

Being confident in written and verbal communication to all internal and external stakeholders.

Managing and processing vendor invoices.

Be the main contact for the team in the absence of both the Manger of Test Centre Real Estate and Senior Real Estate Analyst.

Problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Managing own workload ensuring all tasks are efficiently and effectively managed.

Managing multiple responsibilities across the Real Estate team.

Completing any required training and development courses.

Ability to work methodically, tenacity, and follow-up skills are critical for this role

Essential Experience & Qualifications

Experience in an office-based environment

Experience working in a fast-paced environment with substantial amounts of data.

Managing and maintaining administrative systems and documentation.

Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and associated packages, including Word and Excel.

Flexibility to deal with differing team demands.

Full, non-restrictive driving license preferred.

Any prior facilities/operational experience would be advantageous.

Working Arrangements

Standard working hours are between Monday-Friday 8.00am-5.00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days (days per week may vary dependent on operational needs) based in The Lighthouse (14 The Quays, Salford Quays, M50 3BF)

Out of standard hours/flexible working may be required on occasion.

Travel within the UK may be required.
