About Martin House Martin House provides free specialist palliative care to babies, children and young people with complex and life-shortening conditions. Families from across West, North and East Yorkshire have access to our care 24/7, 365 days a year, including specialist doctors. Every year we care for more than 550 families, at the hospice, in hospital and in families' own homes, as well as supporting around 200 bereaved family members.
Following completion of our Build project, we will be opening our new reception and are seeking a Reception Manager/s to join our team. The full time role is 37.5 hours per week but this could also be a job share for two, so both full and part-time hours will be considered.
The role will involve:
Being the first point of contact for visitors to Martin House. (Families go directly to a separate reception in the new Children's Wing).
Providing a welcoming and professional reception and telephone service.
Assisting colleagues with general administrative requirements of the organisation.
Co-ordinating a small team of Reception volunteers.
