Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our friendly team at Borrowdale Gates Hotel, located in the picturesque Borrowdale. This role is vital in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service and support throughout their stay, aligning with our commitment to hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome. Manage phone calls and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations. Handle administrative tasks including data entry and filing. Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs. Assist with billing and payment processing as required. Ensure the reception area is organized and presentable at all times. Provide information about local attractions and hotel services.

Qualifications

Proven office experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Exceptional organizational abilities with attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not mandatory. Experience with data entry and clerical tasks preferred. Knowledge of Google Workspace is an advantage.
