We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Reception Manager to lead our reception team at the Haymarket Hotel. This pivotal role requires a proactive and enthusiastic leader who can oversee the daily operations of the reception department, ensuring that each guest receives an exceptional and personalised experience. As a Reception Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and enhancing our guests' stay.


Responsibilities:




Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the reception department. Motivate, inspire, and lead the reception team to achieve their full potential. Conduct recruitment, training, and manage employee relations to build a strong, cohesive team. Ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Conduct annual appraisals and manage staff development initiatives. Maintain and uphold Firmdale's high standards in all reception activities. Produce weekly and monthly departmental reports for the Deputy and General Manager. Stay informed about current hospitality trends and competitors to ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry.

What you Need:




Proven experience as a Reception Manager or Reception Supervisor in a high-end operation. Hands-on approach with the ability to assist in daily operations. Exceptional ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Genuine passion for the hospitality industry with a desire to drive hotel success forward. Strong leadership and motivational skills to empower and develop your team. High-level understanding of current hospitality trends and competitor activities.
