We are now looking to appoint a confident, organised, and hands-on
Reception Manager
to lead our reception team and take on
Duty Manager
responsibilities.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you and your team will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth, professional daily operation of the spa reception and then across all departments when undertaking Duty Manager shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Reception Manager
Oversee daily reception operations, rotas, and team performance
Support, train, and develop reception staff
Manage guest enquiries and complaints professionally
Lead by example taking bookings and promoting all services offered by the spa
Ensure stock levels, shift checklists, and handovers are completed
Collaborate with marketing, IT, and other departments to support events, offers, and promotions
Liaise with senior management on equipment, staffing, and operational needs
Ensure accuracy of bookings and payments
Duty Management
Act as keyholder, opening/closing the Spa and ensuring safety and readiness
Lead daily team briefings and support all departments as needed
Be the point of contact for guest concerns and emergencies
Ensure adherence to health & safety and operating standards
Support other Front of House departments as appropriate
What We're Looking For
At least 12 months' experience in a senior receptionist or team leader/management role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Calm, professional manner under pressure
Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and tech proficiency
Team player with a proactive, customer-first mindset
Confident in upselling products and services
Preferred experience in a hospitality or similar setting
