Job Description

Working with businesses across the UK, WEEE Scotland helps customers to extend the life of their electrical equipment and machinery, and dispose of redundant electronics in a safe, sustainable and compliant way. The Reception and Admin Support Assistant will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a warm and professional welcome. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our office and contribute to our mission of sustainable resource management.

A part-time job share would be considered for this role.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed Provide general administrative support to various departments including HR, HSE, sales and marketing and operations Perform data entry and maintain accurate records Handle confidential information with discretion Provide ongoing support to the Finance function (full training provided)
Candidate Requirements

Essential:

Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Well presented with friendly and professional demeanour Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:

Qualifications in office administration Knowledge/experience in waste and recycling sector Full driving license

Pay: 26,208.00-27,000.00 per year
