We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our friendly team at the Andover Health Centre. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and clients, providing a friendly welcome and assistance while managing a variety of administrative tasks alongside a telephone role. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Duties
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to;
greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
Experience
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not essential.
Use of clinical systems such as EMIS or ANIMA is desirable but not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
