Overview of Job Role
We are seeking a
Receptionist
to join us in the exciting journey of opening of Aston Manor Care Home. This pivotal role requires an individual who can provide the best front of house service. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of people and organisational skills to ensure a fantastic experience for all visitor to the Care Home.
Hours of Work:
Full-time and Part-time
(9am - 5pm)
(Rota covers Monday to Sunday)
Competitive Pay Rate of
13.00 per hour
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the best front of house service by providing a warm welcome to all visitors to Aston Manor and orient them on health and safety and fire protocols.
Ensure that all telephone calls and emails are responded to in a timely manner and with a courteous approach.
Assist in providing refreshments to the visitors and answering their queries in a professional manner.
Ensure that the reception and surrounding areas of the Care Home are well presented and maintained at all times.
Assist and deputise for the business administrator in all activities as required and provide cover during their period of absence.
Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents.
Carry out any duties reasonably required to ensure the smooth operation of Aston Manor.
About You
Previous experience in HR and/or Finance administration is essential to be considered.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High proficiency in the use of MS Office suite and other relevant IT systems.
Ability to multitask, prioritise and take ownership of this role with confidence and discretion.
Work flexibly and collaboratively with the team.
Clear, methodical working approach with strong numerical ability.
