This role will provide first point of contact & customer service to clients, colleagues and third parties visiting and contacting our Bridgend office

What you'll be responsible for:



Be the first point of contact for all visitors including contractors, suppliers, colleagues & clients visiting the office by providing professional and friendly customer service. Answer external and internal calls in a professional, timely manner and diverting calls to the appropriate person, or relaying messages where applicable. Organise and distribute incoming mail and parcel deliveries. Process outgoing mail and postage, including recorded and special deliveries ready for collection. Send and receive faxes (for conveyancing department), ensuring copies of proof of delivery is stored and shared correctly. Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, taking payments and file opening. Respond and action internal email queries from colleagues, such as meeting room requests. Manage the entrance door, ensuring security is maintained at all times. Maintain the office stationery stock. Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy and presentable. Maintain high levels of client and company confidentiality. Provide administrative support to other teams when needed. Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed by your line manager or Director.

What we're looking for:



Previous experience working on reception is preferred. Demonstrate initiative. A great telephone manner and comfortable speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person. Excellent organisational skills Professional attitude and appearance Active listener Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively. Highly organised, methodical and presentable. Excellent general IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems. Ability to keep calm and professional in a client facing environment. Team player.
