Corporate Receptionist - Bristol

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Corporate Receptionist. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for all visitors and stakeholders. In addition to traditional receptionist duties, this role will involve taking on additional responsibilities such as event planning, stakeholder relationship management, and creating a newsletter.

The role is based in a fabulous building, located ten minute's walk from Temple Meads station.

Hours

- 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday

1 hour paid lunch break

Key Responsibilities



Front of House

You will become the face of the building, ensuring everyone receives a warm and professional welcome Take ownership of the reception area, always looking for ways to improve working processes and the service delivered to everyone visiting or working in the building Efficiently sign in all visitors to the building following appropriate reception processes Manage deliveries, including couriers and post Develop a good understanding of the local area and maintain a local amenities information file - becoming the 'go to expert' in terms of local knowledge Direct and assist visitors, guests, staff, and couriers; handle telephone calls professionally


Initiatives & Community

Develop and introduce seasonal events and added value initiatives for the tenants to create a sense of community and aid enjoyment in the workplace, as and when required Research and produce a monthly e-newsletter promoting initiatives and concierge services helping to create a community vibe Find out what's happening locally and reach out to the local community to find supporting offers to help promote new businesses, local charities and encourage involvement with the building Create content for the building app, including updates, news, and pop-up information


Building and Services

Develop strong working relationships with the local letting agents and support them by ensuring any vacant office space is kept pristine in preparation for viewings Support the on-site Building Manager by ensuring any building issues are reported, monitored and managed to resolution Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and employees Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and managing office supplies Conduct weekly duties including -fire alarm, lift sounder and door release tests

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise





Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic design software for newsletter creation Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
