Job Description
Glasswells is the biggest home department store in East Anglia, with shops in Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Haverhill, and Saffron Walden. We offer a wide range of quality home furnishings and flooring products to our customers across East Anglia.
We are looking for a confident and friendly person to join our Reception team at our busy store in Bury St Edmunds.
This is a full-time position, working five days per week (7.5 hours per day) including alternate weekends on a rota basis. You will also be required to work on some public holidays.
Working hours are Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 6.00pm and Sunday 10.30am to 4.30pm.
Responsibilities include:
Dealing with customer enquiries in store, over the telephone, and online.
Processing orders on our in-house computer system.
Taking payments and handling cash.
Arranging deliveries.
General administrative duties.
A good level of IT Skills are required.
