Role Overview:
As a Receptionist at Halliday Automotive, you will be at the heart of our operations, you'll be based in our main showroom, assisting customers and colleagues from our Service and Sales Departments. Your role will involve a variety of responsibilities that ensure the smooth and efficient running of our front-of-house and administrative functions. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, playing a crucial role in ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish. Your ability to coordinate with colleagues and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment will be key to your success.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their visit.
Serve as a key link between customers and our front of house and technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication of their needs and concerns.
Schedule and manage appointments, coordinating with customers and colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery.
Manage incoming and outgoing calls and emails, addressing inquiries, booking appointments, and following up as necessary.
Perform basic administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining records, developing invoices and taking payments, to support the smooth operation of the dealership.
Work closely with colleagues across the business, ensuring a collaborative approach to meeting customer needs.
Ensure customer satisfaction by following up after appointments and services, addressing any additional concerns, and reinforcing the value of our services.
Provide general support across various operational areas, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a busy environment.

Customer service experience
Strong organisational skills
Excellent communication abilities
Basic administrative skills
Experience in handling cash and payments
The ability to work well in a team and coordinate tasks effectively
A valid driver's license
