Prospect Street Dental Practice in Reading is looking for a welcoming and organised Dental Receptionist to join our friendly front-of-house team. You'll be the first smile our patients see, helping to make every visit a positive and professional experience.

Your Working Hours

Wednesday:

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Thursday:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday:

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
(25 hours per week)

About the Role

As the face of our practice, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the reception area. Your responsibilities will include:


Greeting and checking in patients with warmth and professionalism Managing appointment bookings and diaries Handling calls, emails, and patient enquiries Processing payments and maintaining accurate records Supporting clinicians and the wider team as needed Keeping the reception area organised, calm, and welcoming

Who We're Looking For

Previous dental or healthcare reception experience preferred, but not essential for the right candidate with strong admin and people skills Confident managing bookings, handling patient queries, and supporting the clinical team A great communicator who brings a calm, professional approach to a busy environment Strong PC skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently A warm, approachable personality and a genuine passion for patient care
