We are looking for a reliable and organised Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be confident using dental software (or quick to learn), and have a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming patients and managing check-in/check-out procedures
Answering telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
Booking, amending, and managing appointments using practice software
Taking payments and handling NHS/private billing
Coordinating with dental nurses and clinicians to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality at all times
General administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and stock management
Requirements:
Previous experience as a dental or medical receptionist preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, friendly, and calm under pressure
Competent with IT systems; experience with dental software is an advantage (e.g. R4, SOE)
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Willingness to learn and be part of a supportive team
