We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional guest services throughout their stay. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Duties
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming smile.
Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
Deal with guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone and via email.
Process bookings and reservations.
Driving Sales Opportunities and maximising revenue and occupancy levels.
Provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
To accept and process payments, deposits and daily banking procedures.
Promote/Sell reservations for events.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
Maintain the reception area's cleanliness and organisation.
Assist in administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly disposition with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Knowledge of our PMS Guestline and Best Western advantageous.
Shift pattern 5 days of 7
Mixture of early and late shifts 7:30 am - 3:30 pm and 3:30 pm until - 11:30 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
