The School of Health in Social Science is seeking to appoint a Receptionist to provide reception support for the Centre for Psychological Therapies and Hope Park Counselling Centre, the School's in-house post-graduate psychological therapies and counselling training and research Centres.
The Opportunity:
The post-holder will provide a full reception service and contribute to the smooth day to day running across both services. A key part of the role will be to assist the administrative teams by taking responsibility for client enquiries, managing the waiting areas, and completing some basic administrative tasks. The post-holder will be the first point of contact by phone, email and face to face for clients of both services.
Ability to learn new systems including the Centres' bespoke Database.
Accuracy and ability to prioritise tasks within a routine.
Ability to apply and understand relevant standard procedures and policies.
Flexible approach to duties and willingness to learn.
Ability to communicate effectively to maintain good working relationships with staff, students, clients and members of the public and to provide a warm, friendly front of house, reflective of the ethos of Centre for Psychological Therapies and Hope Park Counselling Centre.
