Job Description

Are you a friendly, organised, and proactive individual looking to join a supportive team in a busy GP practice? The Maryhill Group Practice is seeking a full-time or full time equivalent receptionist to be the welcoming face of our service and a key part of our administrative team.

Maryhill is a busy practice with over 22,500 patients. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing a professional and compassionate service both in person and over the phone. You'll play a vital role in working with our administrative team and be part of a team of 11 receptionists at the practice.

Key Responsibilities:



Managing telephone enquiries and appointment bookings Updating and maintaining patient records accurately Supporting the team with general administrative duties Work as part of our Duty and Triage team.

Ideal Candidate Characteristics:



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure A team player with a flexible and positive attitude Have a full driving license.
