About the role



Balfour Beatty is looking for a Front of House Receptionist to join our Skye Overhead Line Reinforcement Project team.



Based full-time at our project office in Fort Augustus, this role is key to creating a warm and professional welcome for all visitors while providing essential administrative support to keep the office running efficiently.


Due to the remote location, having access to a car is essential.



What you'll be doing



Greet visitors with professionalism and a warm welcome, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage the reception area, incoming calls, mail, and deliveries. Coordinate visitor sign-in, badges, and site access in line with health and safety procedures. Support the setup of meeting rooms, including organising refreshments when required. Provide general administrative support including photocopying, scanning, filing, and document preparation. Maintain office supply inventory and order items as needed. Assist the project team with administrative tasks and maintain accurate records and project documentation. Deliver visitor inductions where required. Ensure a high standard of confidentiality, organisation, and customer service in all tasks.



Who we're looking for



Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a busy environment. Full UK driving licence preferred due to the remote location of the office. Previous experience working in a construction or project-based environment
