Nellie Supports Ltd is the UK's largest private social work practice, specialising in mental capacity assessments, EHCP appeals, continuing healthcare funding advice, and expert witness reports. We work with families, solicitors, local authorities, and legal professionals across England and Wales.We're looking for a

Receptionist

to manage our client journey from initial inquiry through to invoice. You'll be the first point of contact for families and professionals, handling sensitive cases with professionalism and compassion.Key Responsibilities

Client Intake & Sales



Receive and qualify client inquiries (mental capacity assessments, EHCP appeals, CHC funding, court reports) Generate accurate quotes based on service type and complexity Follow up on quotations and address client questions Track conversions and manage sales pipeline in Monday.com

Scheduling & Coordination



Confirm client acceptance and payment terms Book assessments with the appropriate team member Coordinate scheduling across a 3-4 week assessment timeline Liaise with assessment team on logistics

Invoicing & Administration



Generate invoices upon service completion Ensure proper coding and VAT handling Update case management systems with invoice status Maintain confidential client records

Professional Standards



Handle sensitive family and care situations with discretion Manage client expectations around timelines and processes Support the team's commitment to quality and compliance
Requirements

Essential:



Experience in reception, admin, or client-facing roles Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to handle confidential information professionally Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office Comfortable managing multiple priorities

Desirable:



Knowledge of mental capacity law, healthcare, or social care Experience in professional services environments Familiarity with CRM or sales pipeline tools
