As a Car Dealer Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and phone inquiries. Your role is to create a positive first impression of the dealership by delivering exceptional service and efficiently managing administrative tasks. This is a key position that supports the daily operations of the dealership and contributes to maintaining smooth communication between customers, the sales team, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
Phone Management:
Answer and direct incoming calls, providing information about products, services, and availability of vehicles.
Appointment Scheduling:
Schedule test drives, and sales consultations for customers, ensuring smooth coordination between departments.
Administrative Support:
Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records for customer interactions and appointments.
Data Entry:
Input customer information into the dealership's system and maintain up-to-date contact details for follow-ups.
Customer Inquiries:
Assist customers by answering general questions about vehicles
Collaborate with Sales Teams:
Communicate effectively with sales department to ensure seamless customer experiences and follow-up.
Maintain Reception Area:
Keep the reception area clean and organised
Other Duties as Assigned:
Support management and other team members with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role, preferably in an automotive or retail environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of office equipment and software
Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanour.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of the automotive industry or previous dealership experience is a plus, but not required.
