Inshes Vets is excited to offer a new opportunity for an experienced, part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. If you have a passion for customer service, experience in a reception or administration role, and are keen to make a difference in a busy veterinary environment, we'd love to hear from you. You will be part of a supportive team of vets, nurses, and support staff, all working together to provide excellent care and service.
As a receptionist, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the practice. Your duties will include:
Managing the front desk including welcoming clients and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
Answering phone calls and emails, answering queries, booking appointments and managing the diary
Taking payments, general admin tasks and keeping client records up to date
Promoting our Pet Health Club,
Maintaining a clean area for our clients and their pets
You should possess strong administrative and computer skills and be able to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting. We're looking for someone who is a professional and confident communicator, and of course has a love of animals, as we pride ourselves in offering excellent customer service to both our clients and their pets.
Contract will be 4 days per week (32hrs) with 1 Saturday in 5 paid as overtime.
You will be required to be able to cover any shifts, but your rota will generally be the same on a weekly basis, and we are happy to discuss shift pattern.
We release the rota a month in advance.
