Situated on the beautiful Isle of Arran on the West Coast of Scotland, Auchrannie is a unique resort with two 4-star hotels and over forty 5-star luxury self-catering lodges and retreats. About the role
Reporting to the Assistant Reception and Reservations Manager, our reception team look after every aspect of the guest journey and deliver Auchrannie's acclaimed service from the initial telephone call to the end of their stayand beyond. Always on hand and available to assist with any query, the reception team work seamlessly with departments across the resort to continuously ensure the highest standard of organisation and attention to detail to make every interaction relaxing and help create unique and memorable guest experiences.
In this role, you will:
ensure that guest requirements are met and dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.
provide a first-class welcome for all arriving guests, setting the stage for their stay
be constantly aware of all resort products and services
be fully trained in reception duties across the resort including bookings for accommodation, dining, leisure and ASPA.
provide check-in and check-out services for our guests in an efficient and engaging manner
upsell products and services to enhance the guest experience
handle all cash and other forms of payment accurately, completing the end of shift banking in a detailed manner which is ready to be passed on to Accounts.
answer all telephone calls and emails in a timely manner, maintaining an engaging nature to convey the personality of Auchrannie.
To be suitable for this role, you will:
have previous experience in a reception or customer service role ideally gained in a 4/5 hospitality business demonstrate a strong interest in guest service
show a confident, outgoing and engaging personality and the ability to put guest at ease
be self motivated and able to work on your own
demontrate good IT and systems knowledge
be calm under pressure and working in a fast paced, busy, guest facing environment.

This position is offered as full time position working an average of 40 hours per week over 5 days. Modern live in accommodation available if required.
