As a pivotal member of our Patient Care Team, you can continue to improve on how we work and what we do. Your efficiency as a front-facing professional directly relates to our success as both a practice and a business. You will be expected to perform all reception duties at our busy dental practice; we offer a limited amount of NHS treatment, and a thriving catalogue of Private treatment that includes 'Invisalign' and 'Air Flow' powder-cleaning. We also run our highly-popular in-house membership plan, the Confident Plan; all delivered by an extremely skilled team.
Experience in a dental/ healthcare environment is preferred, but not essential if your previous skills are transferable. Front-of-house, 'customer-facing' experience would be ideal.
You must excel at customer service, have excellent I.T. and organisational ability, and be highly skilled in literacy and numeracy.
You will be the first visible point-of-contact for patients attending the practice, and before this for those contacting us by telephone, email and letter.
You will need to speak clearly, be extremely well-presented and possess a thorough appreciation of 'patient perception'.
You will be communicating with all staff and dental performers, ensuring that it is as effective and concise as possible.
The reception and waiting areas will be your domain, and your responsibility is to make patients feel comfortable and at ease, in a spotlessly tidy environment.
You pride yourself on your warmth as you welcome and greet patients with sincerity, exemplifying a balance of courtesy, confidence and assertiveness.
You possess Grade 4 GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics as a minimum, as well as excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn more and grow professionally.
Your ability to cash-up manually, when required, is essential.
