We are seeking a warm, friendly, and organised Receptionist / Front of House to join our team at Old Rectory Spa. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their experience is exceptional from the moment they walk through the door. You will handle various administrative tasks, manage phone calls, and assist with clerical duties to support the efficient functioning of the spa.
Duties:
Client Interaction:
Greet clients with a welcoming attitude, check them in for appointments, and assist with any inquiries they may have.
Appointment Management:
Schedule and confirm appointments, manage the booking system, and handle any changes or cancellations.
Administrative Support:
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and assist with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Payment Processing:
Handle client transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
Product Knowledge:
Provide information about our treatments, services, and products, and assist with retail sales.
Maintain a Relaxed Environment:
Ensure the spa areas are clean, organized, and a calm space for clients.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or administrative role, ideally within the spa, wellness, or hospitality industry.
Skills:
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Personal Traits:
A positive, professional, and approachable demeanour with a genuine passion for customer care and wellness.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in using booking software and basic computer applications.

Additional shifts on an ad hoc basis to cover team holidays
