About the role



As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our busy school, playing a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all pupils, staff, and visitors. You will manage front desk duties with professionalism and warmth--answering calls, greeting visitors, handling enquiries, and providing essential administrative support. You will also support safeguarding processes, pupil attendance procedures, and be a key player in emergency response protocols, including fire registers and first aid.



During term time, you'll work 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday), and 9:00am-4:00pm during school holidays.

This is a fixed-term, term-time position acting as Maternity Cover

.



Who we are looking for:



You're a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and a calm, proactive attitude. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to juggle multiple tasks with ease. You have previous experience in a front-of-house or administrative role, ideally in a school setting, and are proficient with Microsoft Office. A background in safeguarding, first aid training, or experience using school systems like iSAMS is a bonus. Most importantly, you bring a positive, team-focused mindset and a strong commitment to student wellbeing and safety.
