About Melia White House Hotel NW1 3UP




Melia White House is a modern and elegantly newly refurbished hotel exceptionally located next to Regent's Park, within a short walk from the world-renowned shopping streets of Oxford Circus & Regents Street. Warren Street, Great Portland Street and Regent's Park underground stations are all within a 5-minute walk.



Salary package: 26,780 plus service charge

Receptionist




Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


To ensure that all guests are welcomed and checked-in into the hotel in a warm, genuine & professional manner & that where known, the guest is addressed by name. to be fully conversant with check-out procedures in an informative & helpful manner.

To Project a helpful, enthusiastic attitude to offer choices anticipating & identifying guest expectations, in order to ensure that their needs are met & where possible to exceed demand.

To beware of the current day's availability and to propose up-sell and cross-sell whenever it is possible to maximize room occupancy and hotel revenue.

To present all accounts to company and agency bills with acceptable back-up. To provide to our guests with the corresponding invoice related to the payment taken.

To observe all security, health and safety regulations. To be fully conversant and capable of acting in an appropriate manner during emergency situations in accordance with the hotel emergency procedures.

To carry out all duties with due regard for the specifications of relevant & related legislation. To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by senior reception staff or management.

To file all new arrivals registration cards after they have been completed by the guest with their personal details, making sure we always have a contact detail.



What we are looking for?


OPERA knowledge

Fluency in English and additional Spanish would be beneficial Prior experience is a similar role

The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
