Job Description

LPC Law is seeking a Receptionist to join their busy team.



The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Head of HR & Recruitment, ensuring the effective management of the reception and front of house services. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing mail, ordering office supplies and performing associated administrative tasks.

The postholder will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the offices, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our reception, meeting room spaces and office.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Reception or Front of House position within a legal or professional services environment. They will possess strong organisational skills, the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and be proficient in Microsoft Office packages. They will have the ability to communicate at all levels and excellent attention to detail.

Main responsibilities include:



- Greeting and registering all visitors, clients and candidates to the offices and notifying relevant personnel.

- Manage the reception and meeting room areas, ensuring they remain tidy and presentable at all times.

- Assist with meeting room bookings. Monitoring the meeting room calendars to ensure there are no conflicting appointments. Ensure meeting rooms are set up as required and ordering office supplies.

- Collecting and opening post, date stamping and distributing promptly to the appropriate recipients.

- Preparing and franking all outgoing mail (including weighing and recording of Special Delivery/Recorded Delivery/Couriers) within specified time frames.

- Liaising with stationery supply companies to ensure all company stationery/office supplies are ordered in a timely fashion and orders controlled and maintained. Accepting and sorting all deliveries of stationery and office supplies.

- Assisting with scanning, filing and ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Working hours:



37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 08:30 - 17:30, with an hour for lunch.
