We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time Receptionist to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, working Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. This is a job share position, providing cover for holidays and sickness as needed. The role offers an opportunity to be the welcoming face of our office, supporting daily operations and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for visitors and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities





Act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming reception service. Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and courteously. Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared and presentable. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and deliveries. Maintain client confidentiality and uphold the firm's professional standards at all times. Support fee earners and administrative staff with general office and clerical tasks as required. Keep the reception area tidy and well-organized. Assist with cover for holidays and sickness as part of the job share arrangement.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise





Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant, ideally within a law firm or other professional services environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite and professional telephone manner Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable using office systems and equipment. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
