We have an exciting opportunity for a corporate receptionist to take full ownership of the front of house services at a fabulous office building in Mayfair, working Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.30pm.
You will deliver an exemplary tenant service and visitor experience, understanding the value of cultivating a lively and inclusive community within the building. You should be well presented with proven relevant experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role.
Hours - 8am - 5pm
Salary - 34,200
Key Responsibilities
Reception responsibilities
Ensuring the reception area looks pristine and welcoming
Meeting and greeting all visitors to the building to ensure a warm and personal welcome- following the appropriate sign-in processes
Managing deliveries, including couriers and post
Developing a local amenities information file, drawing on your knowledge of the local area
General administration and front of house support as required
Prepare and submit weekly site activity reports when requested
General management of the building
You will quickly establish yourself as 'the face of the building' and the go to person for questions / queries
Work closely with the Building Manager - confidently reporting building issues and helping manage to resolution
Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress / maintenance log
Concierge/added value marketing responsibilities
Create and distribute a monthly tenant newsletter to maintain regular, engaging communication
Research, propose, and - where approved by the client - help implement value-added services such as dry cleaning, gym memberships, professional networking opportunities, and sustainability initiatives
Negotiate tenant discounts or complimentary offers with nearby shops, restaurants, and gyms, subject to client approval and aligned with the LAH front-of-house service ethos
Organise or assist with promotional and community events, such as pop-ups or seasonal celebrations (e.g. summer or Christmas events), focusing on supporting and involving local businesses
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge
Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
Proactive, self-motivated and thrive in an environment where you are required to multitask
Excellent written / verbal communication skills and able to confidently communicate with key stakeholders
Competent Microsoft office user, with a knowledge of how to use social media app's and Canva
