Job Summary


We are seeking an energetic and highly organised part time Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our School. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, handle multi-line phone systems, and provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth daily operations, support office management functions, and foster a positive environment for everyone who walks through our doors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills while contributing to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities - Working on a Thursday and Friday from 7.30am - 5.00pm you will:



Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries efficiently Handle front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing mail, and maintaining visitor logs Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading with accuracy and attention to detail Maintain files, and records while ensuring confidentiality and security Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally Assist with clerical tasks such as typing documents, proofreading materials, and managing data entry projects

Skills



Proven experience in reception and office management or administrative support roles with strong clerical skills. Previous experience of working in a school would be highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic computer literacy Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently and handle high-volume call environments Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
