What You Need to Succeed

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled person to join the Loxwood team. Would you like to be the 'face of Loxwood School'? You will be the first person to greet our staff and families when they arrive at the school.

This position requires a person who can demonstrate flexibility, works well within a small team, but is also self-motivated and can work on their own when necessary. It can be a pressurised environment, so we are looking for someone who can keep calm and think clearly under the demands of a busy school reception.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and a strong attention detail is essential. We are looking for a dedicated individual who will be a proactive member of the school community. Flexibility and commitment are essential characteristics of the role, in addition to demonstrating common sense and initiative at all times. The Receptionist is responsible to the Headteacher and Business Manager and will be responsible for managing first aid across the school.

The job description and person specification shown in the pack will give you a good indication of who we are looking for, including the skills and experience that would make for our ideal candidate.
