Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and reliable Receptionist with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative as well as the wider admin team. The ideal candidate will be well organised with the ability to work independently.

The main responsibility of this role will be




To provide a professional and welcoming service to all pupils, parents, carers, visitors, governors, stakeholders and staff.


To undertake basic administration duties to a high standard.


The ideal candidate will have:




Good numeracy and literacy skills/GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English


Experience of working in a busy reception


Experience in general clerical or administrative work


Full competence in using ICT


Ability to work on own initiative


Ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders, working well with children and adults


Calm and courteous approach


Good communication skills, both written and spoken
