A PT receptionist needed ASAP!

We are looking for an active, honest and reliable individual to join us for the 2025 season. Macdonalds Farm is a small touring and camping park which also has a bar/cafe and petting farm on site and is located in a stunning location within a 5min walk to Porthcothan beach in the middle of the Seven Bays between Newquay and Padstow.We are a small team more like a family and as such you will become part of the farm family and can enjoy your downtime in our cafe/bar, enjoying our food or exploring this lovely part of Cornwall.

The role is 20-25 hrs a week but can be made FT with some FOH work.

The Receptionist's duties will include answering the phone, meeting and greeting guests, manning reception - helping guests with information, taking bookings and payments, checking all balances are paid, upselling different stays and organising queries for our events and birthdays. Running the events diary plus daily occupancy checks to ensure everyone is on site that should be.

Computer literacy and administrative experience is essential, and training will be provided for our on-line booking system (Anytime). It would be an added bonus if you have worked with booking systems before and partner sites such as Pitched up, Air BnB and Bookingdotcom. Reception can get very busy on check in days so we need someone who is able to multitask and have a positive enthusiastic manner at all times so our guests feel welcomed.

We are a small team here and must be happy to be flexible to assist other departments.You will get a grass pitch for your own caravan or motorhome for the season with access to our facilities and free water/electric. You can also make use of all of our amenities whilst living and working here including enjoying our farm garden and local beaches.
