We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our physiotherapy practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing administrative tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information about services offered.
- Schedule appointments and manage the practice's calendar, coordinating with physiotherapists to optimize patient flow.
- Maintain patient records and ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Process patient registrations and verify insurance details as necessary.
- Handle billing and payments, including issuing invoices and receipts.
- Assist in managing inventory for office supplies and medical equipment.
- Support physiotherapy staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
-Skilled at creating and curating content for social media platforms is desirable
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally in a healthcare setting. Desirable but not essential
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer programs, including MS Office; experience with electronic health records (EHR) software is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
