Key Responsibilities:
Welcome patients to the practice and manage check-in procedures
Handle telephone and in-person enquiries with professionalism and empathy
Schedule, confirm, and manage urgent dental appointments
Ensure accurate completion of patient details and NHS forms
Support clinical staff with administrative needs to maintain efficient workflow
Process payments and assist with administrative record-keeping
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to data protection standards
Liaise with dental teams to coordinate care and keep patient flow efficient
Requirements:
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (dental or NHS setting preferred)
Confident communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
Proficient in computer systems and familiar with healthcare admin processes
Calm and compassionate, particularly when dealing with patients in discomfort or distress
