The Role





We're looking for an

experienced Receptionist

to join our Head Office team based in Bamber Bridge, Preston. The position is part time covering hours between Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Reporting to the Group Office Manager, the key purpose of the role will be to provide a professional, efficient and courteous front of house/reception service to our employees and visitors. Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:



Receive visitors to Head Office Answer all calls efficiently, professionally and politely Ensure visitor Head Office register is kept up to date - signing in and out Monitor maximum office capacity attendance numbers and report to Group Office Manager Ensure Reception area and meeting rooms are kept clean and tidy liaising with day time cleaners Ensuring basic office supplies like pens and hand sanitiser etc. is available for visitor use Accept deliveries into Head Office ensuring to keep appropriate records Maintaining front door security and report to Group Office Manager any suspicious activity Provide cover for incoming and outgoing mail where required

About You





We're looking for someone with proven experience running a busy, professional reception area. You'll bring experience in a professional reception setting and be comfortable handling confidential information with discretion. We're looking for someone who stays calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and delivers a welcoming first impression to everyone who visits or calls. It goes without saying you will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and have excellent experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, is required.
