Receptionist - Part Time



18,252 (13 per hour)



We are seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join our team as a Corporate Receptionist. With experience in facilities or property management, you'll be instrumental in ensuring a professional, warm, and efficient front-of-house experience for all visitors and stakeholders. The building is based on an established business park in Reading.

This is a temporary contract to cover a period of mat leave until November 2025.

Hours and salary


8.30am - 5.30pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Salary - 18,252 per annum

Key Responsibilities





You will provide a front of house reception service, with additional responsibilities, which will include:

Reception

Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner Manage the reception area and ensure it is tidy and presentable at all times Coordinate and organise corporate events, including meetings, conferences, and workshops Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and employees Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments, managing office supplies and invoices Efficiently managing deliveries, including couriers and post Assisting with management access passes

Building management

You will quickly establish yourself as 'the face of the building' and the go to person for questions / queries Work closely with the off site Building Manager - confidently reporting building issues and helping manage to resolution Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress / maintenance log Efficiently manage meeting rooms, including room bookings and catering supplies, if required Assist with the management and administration of invoices for tenants Professionally conducting viewings of vacant offices, on behalf of agents. These could be pre booked, or walk ins


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise





Proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge Facilities management experience (desirable) Personable with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service Proactive, self-motivated and thrive in an environment where you are required to multitask Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active
listening skills
PC literate, with experience of using social media apps and Canva
